Our Mission: The Electric Revolution

The negative effects of the combustion engine are widely known. These effects include, most notably, the proliferation of carbon dioxide which adds to global warming and the release of a host of other toxins which add significantly to other environmental health issues. Project PISCES is geared towards a solution which addresses those issues through the creation of an electric vehicle utilizing sustainable practices.

Project PISCES encompasses two broad intiatives while striving towards this solution. The first is the development of an electric vehicle which includes a methodology, framework and detailed plan for converting an existing internal combustion (IC) vehicle to electric. The second intiative involves the creation, prototyping and fabrication of an electric vehicle charging station. This charging station will allow a user to connect their electric vehicle for a specific time to charge.

Current Projects

PISCES-M1

Our first project involves converting an existing internal combustion vehicle with a manual transmission to be purley electric. This will involve completely removing the car's current engine and replacing with it with a series wound or seperately excited motor. The donor automobile for this project is a 1987 Honda Prelude.

PISCES-A2

Our second project will follow along the same principles as our first project with one major difference. The donor automobile for this project, a 1974 Volvo 144, was donated by Mr. Paul Madura of Yonkers, New York. This automobile differs in that it has an automatic transmission, which will involve different methologoies from our first project for the conversion.
